The resort of C'an Picafort lies on the North East coast of Majorca at the southern end of the long Bay of Alcudia. Transfer time from the island's airport in Palma is approx 1.1/2 hours.
C'an Picafort is not a purpose built tourist resort, but although little now remains of the original fishing village, it has retained a small working harbour from where a number of pleasure trips also depart several times each day.
The resort has a beachside promenade, lined with restaurants and bars, running from the marina and fishing harbour to the more modern Son Baulo area of the town.
The main beach area is approx 1km away from the resort centre in the Baulo district, here is also where you will find a small protected nature reserve.
