|
Santo Tomas lies on the south coast of Menorca, a little further west than Son Bou and through the village of Es Migjorn Gran. It is a purpose built resort and has a single main street with 2 small commercial centres on either side, selling the usual array of tourist and beach goods.
A quiet resort with beach bars, water sports and parking facilities; It is becoming popular with families with young children because of the sandy beach. Santo Tomas is famous for its 3km long sandy beach. A long narrow strip of soft white sand [rocky in places] backed by hills in a spectacular natural area.
The resort has a lovely block paved promenade, which runs the full length of the resort. The path passes a number of playgrounds for the children to play in. Evening entertainment is mainly hotel based but there are several pubs and eateries to cater for your needs. |
