This 150 m. wide beach of fine sand surrounded by rocks can be found on Majorca's impressive east coast. The entertainment is mainly hotel based in this quite, purpose built resort.
During the day the “Calas Express” can take you between the small resorts of Cales de Mallorca, alternatively there is rugged terrain you can explore by foot.
In Calas de Majorca centre (about 500 m. away) there is horse riding and bicycle hire (about 1 km. away). For water lovers you can go water skiing or some 16 kms. away there is scuba diving. The Sunday morning market at the nearby town of Felanitx is widely recognised as being one of the best in Majorca, and is well worth a visit. |
